So with the poll and the few votes I got, it seems liked beets were your least favorite vegetable to cook with. So with that here’s a simple beets recipe for you!
Ingredients
- 1 Golden Beet
- 1 Plucot
- 1 tbsp oil
- Balsamic Vinegar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Wrap beet in aluminum foil, leave some of the root end on (this will keep the beet juice in and make it easier to peel)
- Cook beet in oven for about 55 minutes
- Remove beet from oven, let cool
- Pour oil in pan, slice plucot and place in pan
- While the plucot is cooking, peel the skin off of the beet (it should slide off pretty easily)
- Slice beet and arrange on plate
- Once the plucot is cooked, remove from pan and arrange on place with beet slices
- Pour balsamic vinager over beets and plucots
- ENJOY!!!!
